Why all the hate? This movie was funny, heartwarming, and one of the best movies I've seen so far in 2015 (and I've seen a lot). Amy Schumer is clearly Hollywood's newest "big thing" and this movie proves that. Her character is hilarious and flawed.. bitchy yet you feel for her. I don't get why everyone is hating on this movie. So far it's been doing well at the box office and proves Amy's talents for writing and comedy. Yea, it's a rom-com, but there's something different about this movie. It get's dark and is full of emotion as well as raunch and laughs. If you didn't enjoy this movie, laugh during it, get choked up by her father's death and smile during her basketball court dance (as well as hum uptown girl), you have no soul. This is just a funny movie to have a good time watching. Lighten up!

The Longest Ride is a 2015 American romantic drama film directed by George Tillman, Jr. and written by Craig Bolotin. Based on Nicholas Sparks' novel of the same name, the film stars Scott Eastwood, Britt Robertson, Jack Huston, Oona Chaplin, Alan Alda, Melissa Benoist, and Lolita Davidovich.
Luke Collins is a bull rider who is seriously injured one night while riding. One year later he gets back on and meets Sophia Danko by chance. On their first date they encounter an older gentleman who has crashed his car and help rescue him. Luke continues riding bulls, no matter the risk of being hurt again. He and Sophia fall in love. Meanwhile, Sophia continuously visits the man she and Luke rescued, Ira Levinson. He tells her the story of how he met his late wife, Ruth; their stories interweave.
Indeed an outstanding and haunting movie everyone must see.

Review:
I am a huge Terminator fan. Terminator 2 is my favorite movie ever, and I find it to be the best movie ever made.
So yeah, this review is biased, but not to an extreme degree.
Terminator Genisys is an excellent movie for Terminator fans. It's for the fans. It's the Terminator sequel we deserve. I'm one of those who liked Terminator 3, but Genisys is definitely more in tune with Camerons original two.
If you are not a fan, though. First off, why are you not a fan? Either you are too young, or you.. well, what the hell's wrong with you!? (Kidding...A little bit) Anyway, if you are not a fan this is still an entertaining action movie. It looks really good, the effects are pretty much top notch, the action is entertaining, the parts that are supposed to be are exciting, the acting is mostly solid. Some reviews I've seen say it's devoid of humor, but I disagree. There are small jokes sprinkled pretty evenly around.
But for the fans.. Oh my. This is so in tune with Camerons originals! I think the only one who could have made this any better is Cameron himself.
Of course, it would have been a much better movie-experience if the trailers hadn't spoiled so much, but whaddayagonnado!? When there's a trailer for a new Terminator-movie, I'm gonna see that trailer.
But even if the trailers spoiled a lot, I won't.
I will say this though. There are a lot of nods, references, and direct connections to Camerons originals here. You will recognize plenty of stuff. Some big, some smaller. Sound effects, visual stuff, it is very true to Camerons vision. Very nice. And the song, oh, just pierces my heart!
I am also happy to say that they have brought back some of the more emotional concepts that we loved from T2, and that was sorely missing from T3. Not to the same extent as in T2, but still, a lot better than the two previous entries.
Funny thing is that almost none of the main actors are American, haha. Austria, Australia, England, Korea representin'! Anyhow, the actors are all good. I'm not super loving Jay Courtney, but he did alright. Emilia, Jason, Byung-hun - all real good. Seeing Arnold again, damn! He is just great. Just seeing his name at the beginning, I almost teared up!
The fact that it's PG13 didn't bother me much either. Yeah the blood was awesome in T2, but it's alright that we don't get it here. As for the nudity, it wouldn't have hurt us, but hey, partial nudity is alright too. Anyway the rating doesn't take anything away, there's still plenty of violence.
It is just fantastic to see Terminator-stuff made with 2015-technology. Those endoskeletons.. Awesome! And a certain scene partially lifted from a certain movie, damn! So cool to see.
I haven't got much bad to say, some of the dialogue and one-liners could have been a tad better, a couple of the jokes are a little overused, but it's mostly nitpicking I think.
Also, yes, there are plot holes, but what do you expect? The whole premise of Terminator is impossible anyway.
I can honestly say, as a life long (I saw T2 the first time when I was really little) Terminator-fan, I enjoyed the hell out of this. Already looking forward to seeing it again. It was at times perfect. Very entertaining.
Now go see it people, so it makes good in them boxoffices. I want more of these!

Ted 2 lets talk about it! OK i saw this film 2 months ago at an early screening and unlike a few idiots on here i actually kept my mouth shut due to the embargo and quiet possibly getting sued if i let any info slip lol. Anyways i ENJOYED this movie a ton!!! Let's get one thing straight here, if you didn't like the 1st TED or you don't like anything Seth Mcfarlane related then STAY AWAY! This movie isn't for you and it won't change your mind about anything. I LOVED the first ted and i knew that this movie might be a weak sequel like most sequels are now in days...... and surprise, surprise it actually exceeded my expectations. Ted 2 is almost as good as the first! ALMOST! One of my concerns was the cast change, i hate when movies replace or change characters in sequels. SO i felt that Mila Kunis's absence was going to be very obvious and there would be a hole in this movie that the new lead Amanda Seyfried just could not fill. AND another surprise! Her character worked to PERFECTION!!! The chemistry that she had with Mark Wahlberg and Seth Mcfarlane was just amazing. I was like "there's no way she could be better than Mila" and BOOM she nailed it.The story most of you may already know from the trailers, Ted gets married and then the State says Ted is property and not a person so the marriage is annulled and he basically loses everything. So the story worked, the first movie focused more on John and this one is more about ted. I had no real complaints with this film, there is a cameo with Liam Neeson which IMO was just pointless and not that funny.... There are some moments where they try too hard with the jokes or to be shocking but Besides a few nitpicks i had no complaints with this movie! It is laugh out loud funny, it has serious moments similar to the first and it's just a fun film! There are some returning characters and i won't spoil that. And ohh yeah the Comic Con scene in this film with Patrick Warburton and the running gag they have going on is SUPER HILARIOUS!!! I'm giving TED 2 an 8.5/10.

I went in to see this film with zero knowledge and zero expectations - I don't even think I saw the trailer. I laughed the entire time!
The movie plays out as a parody of James Bond films and even pokes fun at the Jason Statham breakneck action type of movies, featuring Melissa McCarthy in one of her best roles yet. As far as I can remember, this is Melissa's first role in which she does not play the "gross, clumsy, fat chick" but instead portrays a fiercely intelligent, tough, 3 dimensional woman who ends up in ridiculous situations, and ends up being incredibly skilled at fighting off gangsters. Sure - it may be unrealistic, but it makes for a great, interesting comedy. Susan (Melissa's character) is a relatable middle- aged woman, who is feminine, takes good care of herself, longs for unattainable love, has a close girl friend who has her back, and works her ass off. You root for her, you laugh at her shockingly good insults and come-backs, and you understand her motives for her actions.
Some of the characters seem to be poking fun at their "stereotype" in other movies of their career. Jason Statham, like I mentioned before, is mostly cast in high-speed, intense action films - and in SPY, his character goes above and beyond this. Ford (Statham's character) believes himself to be so intense and invincible that all the other characters roll their eyes at him and basically tells him to "just calm the eff down". He ends up getting in the way and causing more problems than actually doing any good. A fact that I personally loved to see play out.
Give it a shot. I'm buying the DVD as soon as it comes out.

It has been quite some time, since we last had a movie like this. You can't really invent anything new with the formula. All you can throw at the viewer (no pun intended) are the best possible special effects. Clichés? Well you know you'll get them. You also get very beautiful people here in the main roles (if you're not offended by that, you'll go on a journey with them).
The Rock saving people? That's not a stretch. His charisma shines through the screen and you believe he's able to do most of the things that are depicted in this. The story itself is not going to have you guessing too much, but it's sufficient enough to carry what's going on. It's decent and the movie entertaining enough

Review:
OK so if you watch this film for nothing but the stripping, a little advice... skip through to towards the end of the film as there is none until then. But you know what? That's actually OK.
So I'll admit I watched the first film for the stripping and walked away loving the plot and realizing that a film still can take me from one place to another by it's conclusion.
So I commenced this film for the sake of seeing what would happen in the sequel. Yeah I wont lie, the chance to see Channing Tatum get his groove on and strip down to as little as possible was part of the appeal, but I truly wanted to see where Mike would end up after deciding to step away from stripping and open up his own custom made furniture business.
So we do open up seeing exactly that. Mike has a business up and running with just one employee, but still he's indulging in his passion. We come to find out that things didn't work out with Brooke and he is, sadly, single again. But rather than let that get him down for the entire film (which believe me, so many films will do) Mike actually seems to be doing OK.
One day one of the guys from the old Kings of Tamper calls him to tell him that Dallas (Matthew McConaughey) has died! So Mike goes to visit them thinking he's going for a wake. Turns out Dallas only left the group and ran off with 'the kid'. Mike seems to revel in being back with his old buddies though and goes home that night and (after turning on some music) proceeds to dance (stripper style) while working. As passionately as you can imagine, part way through his work he tosses everything aside and dances for the fun of it, smiling at the conclusion of the song.
So not surprisingly he decides to join the old Kings of Tamper for a one last hurrah! They take a road trip down to the destination their headed where they will be part of a convention for strippers.
The film just glows from start to end with many fun scenes along the way and not really any moments of sadness at all.
Andie MacDowell stars in an awesome scene where (in her home) she has a few women over drinking and the men arrive. Everyone gets to drinking and lets just say its a lot of fun and a whole lotta laughs!
Jada Pinkett Smith also stars as the awesome Rome (wont say more here, you gotta watch)
And it all culminates in the final climatic strip show that you await as eagerly as you do Harold and Kumar making it to white castle. The only difference in this film is you enjoy every moment of the journey and don't really mind if they take their time, many detours, or even if they would happen to be a month late you're having that much fun!
The final strip scenes are good, however not as good as the first one Ill admit. But you do see Channings (behind) and another guys. Otherwise it's mainly stripping to above the waste action.
But as I said, the stripping was always a small part for me and I loved every moment of it.
Gregory Jacobs... I score you a 9/10! (Which for me this week is quite generous- I've been throwing out 1's and 2's!) The only reason it's not a 10 is because the stripping was better last time. Otherwise a perfect movie and Jacobs ultimately achieves what any director wants to, by allowing us to loose ourselves and leave our lives behind (for just under two hours) and get lost in the *magic* that is Mike XXL- Well Done :)

The 4th film in the Jurassic Park series and the second sequel that Steven Spielberg did not direct starts off well enough with enough call backs to the first film of the series but quickly turns into a monster movie with a run away super killer dinosaur that was spliced by the DNA of other prehistoric creatures for the sake of selling extra tickets. If my description of the plot Is pretty simplistic,it's because the story is that simple. So forget the dangers of science morality tales that both "Jurassic Park" and "The Lost World" gave to it's stories and just accept that the series has become a standard creature feature that just swaps out it's main monster for every new installment. The last film in the series "Jurassic Park 3" pretty much threw away the whole plot lines of the first two films just to give us a chase film with a dinosaur that was never even seen in "The Lost World" and that film was set on the same island. While "Jurassic Park 3" just went on a painful 90 minutes long montage of talking raptors, horrible scenes of family bonding and an visible annoyed Sam Neill looking like he's about to go postal on the people working on the film set, Jurassic World manages to be a hell of a lot more enjoyable experience for the viewer in terms of just trying to inject a sense of plot and continuity to this other wise creature feature.

Review:
First of all I have to confess to not being a fan of Marvel Comic movies. I know some people are very much into the genre, but a lot of the Marvel movies leave me somewhat cold. Having said that I have to confess that I certainly enjoyed Ant Man.
The thing that was personally enjoyable to me was the fact that Ant Man is a very fallible character. I will leave it to everybody to discover what his powers are, but the title of the movie gives a bit of a clue. I have to say that I like Paul Rudd as an actor and he is certainly very good in this movie as the lead character Scott Lang or Ant Man. You certainly feel very involved with the characters of the movie and the time fairly zips along.
The credits at the end of the movie leave an opening for a sequel and it's certainly one that I will look forward to.
